SC200 – Royal Navy WW2 AP507B/A Gray 1936-43. Standard Gray worn by units of the British Home Fleet, including HMS Hood, Prince of Wales, Rodney, Repulse, Renown, Ark Royal, etc. Research has confirmed that Home Fleet color AP507A, which for decades has been mistakenly believed was a darker gray than AP507B, is in fact the same color with differing degrees of reflectance. We leave it up to the modeler to decide, however, this color contrasts well against images of Hood taken days before her loss.
