Please note: 10/19/2020 – We received notification from the US Postal Service that shipping rates have increased from $7.90 to $8.30 for small orders, and from $14.35 to $16.10 for large orders. We have adjusted our shipping rates accordingly.

International Customers: We are only accepting international orders from the UK and Canada until further notice, UNLESS you can arrange shipping through a carrier such as FEDEX, UPS, or DHL. The US and International Postal Services have proven themselves to be unable to deliver our products in a timely manner. This DOES NOT effect domestic US orders.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS AWAITING ORDERS – The USPS has issued a statement regarding packages headed to Europe. These packages are being shipping by sea and will be delayed. Average shipping time to the EU is 10-12 weeks.

Titanic sets are now IN STOCK in the webstore for domestic US orders. If you are outside of the US and want a set, please drop me an email at, or message me via Facebook, and we can invoice you for the set via Paypal, ensuring you get one from the next batch. Please be sure to include your Paypal email address and FULL postal address for invoicing. Thank you.

Overseas Customers:

Please contact me directly via Facebook or email for orders outside the US. We are happy to ship outside of the US but shipping rates must be calculated on weight and dimensions, so we will gladly invoice you via Paypal once we establish your shipping.

Welcome to Scale Colors and Bling for Bases!

Scale Colors is a new line of hard-polymer acrylic scale model paints, utilizing an entirely new chemical formula to ensure superior leveling and durability with the user-friendly approach you’ve come to expect from acrylics. Scale Colors are water and isopropyl alcohol based, are airbrush-ready, and clean up with water. Scale Colors are not produced overseas, but are researched, mixed, bottled, and labeled in the United States.

Scale Colors Weathering Pigments are carried over from the original Warpigs brand pigments released in 2003. Scale Colors Weathering Pigments are finely ground to 50-micron consistency. Are Scale Colors any different than any of the other pigments out there? Yes, they are. Scale Colors Weathering Pigments do not contain any binding agents, so the color you see in the jar is the color you get on your model. Scale Colors pigments are sourced from a quarry in the Luberon Mountains of France.

Scale Colors Acrylic Washes are also originally Warpigs products. Scale Colors Acrylic Washes are designed to work specifically with Scale Colors paint, and if used as intended, will not attack the underlying paint, even without a barrier coat. Simply brush on, allow to dry, then remove the excess with a damp cloth or cotton swab.

Bling for Bases started out as an affordable alternative to using historical military badges and medals for model display bases. Each replica badge is cast from an original (where available), and is hand-painted and weathered.
